East Adelaide Tour
Adelaide is a city of many faces. If you want to see the heart of Australia, head to the famous East End with Marquee for an east Adelaide tour!
There’s no shortage of things to do in Adelaide, but it’s hard not to be drawn in by the East End. It’s where you can stroll along the River Torrens, take in some of Australia’s best art museums, or enjoy a meal and drinks at one of its many bars and restaurants. There are also plenty of parks and other green spaces throughout the district, so if you’re looking for a bit of nature while exploring Adelaide, this is where you’ll find it.
The East End is also home to some incredible tourist attractions, including the Adelaide Oval Stadium (a cricket stadium), which hosts international cricket matches as well as other events throughout the year; Victoria Square (a central city square); and Elder Park (a large public park).
There are also plenty of shops in town that sell everything from handmade jewellery to souvenirs emblazoned with the state flag—and more than a few places where you can get your hands on some great local food!
For a more creative experience, visit the art at Gallery 1316: This gallery has been curated by local artists to provide an experience that is both visually stunning and intellectually stimulating. You’ll see paintings, sculptures, photographs, and more here—all created by local artists invited to create their unique installation pieces within the gallery space.
Hit up an outdoor market: There are several outdoor markets in East Adelaide that offer fresh produce and other items like flowers and plants; these markets are great places to grab snacks or even find something special for your hotel room!
Terrace: This street is known as “the best retail strip” because it’s lined with cafes, restaurants, museums, galleries, boutiques and much more! If you’re looking for a good time out on the town, West Terrace should be your first stop!
